Create self-confidence: Respecting and liking yourself is an important step to take in order to build healthy and long-lasting social relationships, think about the values you value in yourself, if you feel comfortable with yourself, it reflects in others.
Find something you feel passionate about: Join a language course if you like foreign languages or do volunteer work outdoors if you like nature, these are the places where you can make friends.
Show your presence: Remember, who does not dare – does not win, it is not classified as a loss if you lose someone who did not even suit you as a friend, this is not called ‘lost’, it is called ‘proved’.
Meet in neutral places: Right after you’ve taken the first step and invited someone to meet you, choose a neutral environment to spend the time, this reduces the pressure you would have if you had invited them to your home and gives you more plenty of time to focus on each other.
Ask questions: If you want to become popular, ask people about you and listen carefully when they answer, you rarely find good listeners these days.
Don’t have high expectations: A common mistake we often make is expecting too much from one person, it would be healthier to be more realistic and have a variety of friends for different reasons.
